Blind Veterans UK have invited us to take part in a study to help further develop driver less car technology. This is open to anybody over 13, however priority will be given to Blatchington Court Trust Clients. Under 16s will need a parent/guardian to sign a participation agreement on the day.
‘Arthur’ is a fully autonomous vehicle that will reach 15mph and uses GPS and a Lidar system to navigate through its surroundings. The feedback from this world first trial will be used to improve the next generation of pods and make them more user-friendly.
