Blatchington Court Trust relies on the income from its’ investments in order to provide the support and services the Trust currently offers to its’ clients throughout Sussex.  Due to COVID-19, the Trust’s income is going to be reduced and last week, the Trustees had to make the difficult decision to Furlough all employees, initially until 31 May, other than Alison Evans, Executive Manager and Tony Schofield Finance Officer.  In addition to the decision to Furlough all staff the Trustees also had to make another difficult decision, this was to temporarily suspend all the Trust’s services too.  This unfortunately includes our grants for equipment and services.  Once we are in a position to bring staff back to work, then we hope to be in a position to start supporting our clients again.  By Furloughing staff, the Trust will be able to preserve some of  its’ funds.

During the Furlough period, staff are not permitted to work so they will not be responding to any emails or phone calls.  If  you require any information, advice or support whilst staff are Furloughed then please contact Alison either via email or  by calling 01273 727222.

Our clients will continue to be able to access our Counselling and emotional support service so if any of our clients are  struggling emotionally during this difficult period then please contact Alison and she will be able to arrange for a Counsellor to make contact with you.

Our Trustees ask for your patience and understanding during this difficult period and we hope to be up and running again very soon.

Thank you.
