These classes are run fortnightly over Zoom and are suitable for anyone over the age of 12, however adaptations can be made for younger participants. Classes are Circuit based, incorporating speed, power and strength to build up overall fitness. Each exercise is done for a set amount of time, not reps, so everyone can work at their own level. We will also use interval training (working out in short blocks at a harder intensity and then at a gentler pace) to improve fitness for those who want more of a challenge. As we will focus on bodyweight exercises, there's no need to buy expensive fitness equipment. We'll also include aspects of boxing and kickboxing, using shadow sparring (an imaginary opponent). There will also be a block of core related exercises, which focuses on the stomach and back muscles, as this can help posture and is vital to underpin fitness training. Finally, there will be a full cool down and stretch, at the end of each class, to lengthen out your muscles. Each class can then be done at home as a set routine to follow between the live sessions. Complete a booking form to request your place! Once your booking has been confirmed, we will send you two simple forms, which must be completed by the Friday before your first session, this will give our trainer an idea of your personal fitness level and give her time to make any necessary adaptions. Once the forms have been completed we will send you details on how to join us on Zoom. If you have attended a previous session and have already completed the forms, please just let us know if you would like to join and we will send you the Zoom details.
