Who we are
Blatchington Court Trust supports and empowers children and young adults with sight loss (from birth to 30 years old) and their families across Sussex. Our services – from education advocacy to family support, assistive technology, counselling, and social and educational events – focus on removing barriers and building confidence. Although established as a Trust in 1985, our roots go back to the 1800s, when William Moon founded a school for blind boys at Blatchington Court in Brighton. Today, we continue to provide life‑changing support and work alongside young people and their families to create lasting, positive change.
