To help everyone know what to expect, here is a quick guide to how our events will work:
How do I find out about events?
Events are published on our website, in our newsletter, on our Facebook and Instagram pages, and on Eventbrite.
Who can attend?
We will always make eligibility clear when advertising each event, but as a general guide:
Age-related events
Costs and booking
Some events will include a free carer ticket – please remember to claim this where needed; Eventbrite will show you how.
A kind reminder
When people sign up for our events and don’t attend, it has a real impact. Every empty seat/ place represents time, resources, and funds that could have gone directly to someone else.
As a charity, every penny counts.
We understand that life happens; plans change, emergencies arise. If you can’t make it, just let us know. A quick message helps us adjust and make the most of our efforts.
Our aim is to make sure events are well attended, enjoyable and accessible for everyone
We look forward to sharing what is coming up – it is going to be a great year of getting together, trying new things, and having fun!
